(Diagnostic Test) Chapter 7 – Light Colour and Sight



Today i would like to share Diagnostic Test in Science SPM Form 4. This Diagnostic Test Module – Chapter 7- Light Colour and Sight. Completed with Students Copy and Teachers Copy. Complete with Answer and Scheme. This Diagnostic Test is from Ministry of Education Malaysia. In this subtopic we can learned about:

• state the characteristics of images formed by a plane mirror
• state the characteristics of images formed by a convex lens
• state the characteristics of images formed by a concave lens
• compare and contrast images of
• distant objects formed by
• convex lens and concave lens
• draw and label ray diagram to show the image by light rays passing through a convex lens
• draw and label ray diagram to show the image by light rays passing through a concave lens

The Importance of Colour in Daily Life ppt

Today i would like to share another new Powerpoint Science Form 4. Still in Chapter 7 -Light Colour and Sight. This in Chapter 7.8 The important of colour in daily life ppt. The learning outcome is:

A student is able to:
List the uses of colour in daily life
State with examples the importance of colour to living things
Justify the importance of colour to living things

Prior knowledge:

Students have learnt about the process of addition and subtraction of colours those can produce various colours that are very useful in daily life

At the end of lesson, student should be able to

Content knowledge:
List and match the correct statements that explains at least 5 uses of colours in daily life in reinforcement session
State at least 3examples importance of colours to living things (humans, animals and plants) with examples during cognitive closure session.
Justify the importance of colours to living things in Win, Lose or Draw activity in enhancement phase.


Science process skills, thinking skills and manipulative skills:
Classify the list of uses in daily life activities into their related uses in ‘Mind Breaker 1” activity
Relate the importance of colours to living things while doing “Mind Breaker 3” activity


Scientific attitudes and noble values
Appreciate the contribution of colours towards people in daily life activities while doing first reinforcement activity .

At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:-
Content Knowledge:
  • Give the definition of pigments.
  • List the uses of pigments in various fields such as textile industry, food industry, cosmetic industry, colour printing and paintings.
  • State the colours that can be produce by mixing pigments and its differences with mixing coloured lights.
Scientific Skills:
  • Defining operationally the concept of producing colours in pigment by visualizing the process of absorbing and reflecting certain colours .
  • Classifying the characteristics of mixing pigments and addition of colour lights according to their similarities and differences.

Hello. today i would like to share to you all a NEW! Science Spm Form 4 Powerpoint. It is in Chapter 7.6 about rod and cone cell. Still in Chapter 7 Light Colour and sight. Their learning outcome is Applying the principle of subtraction of coloured light to explain to appearance of coloured objects. Hope at the end of the lesson student will be able to :

i.the rod and cone cells in the given diagram by labeling them correctly
ii.State at least 3 functions of the rod and cone cells during the “Wherezzit, Whatzzit?” activity
iii. Compare and contrast the functions of the rod and cone cells by arranging the answer cards in the table given

Today I'm sharing to you PowerPoint Science SPM Form 4. In my last post I have discussed about the different chapters in Science Form 4, and research to share with you some of the (Powerpoint) Science Form 4, the work of my hands, and my friends.

Today, I would like to share with each other (PowerPoint), its in Chapter 7.3 - Light, Color and Sight. Before this, i have discuss the convex lens and concave lens. Today I share to you in Chapter 7.3 - Analysing Light Dispersion. In this Chapter the learning outcome are,

i. State that light dispersion is the breaking up of white light into its components.

ii. Explain through examples how dispersion of light occurs such as a rainbow formation phenomenon.
