A student is able to:
List the uses of colour in daily life
State with examples the importance of colour to living things
Justify the importance of colour to living things

Prior knowledge:

Students have learnt about the process of addition and subtraction of colours those can produce various colours that are very useful in daily life

At the end of lesson, student should be able to

Content knowledge:
List and match the correct statements that explains at least 5 uses of colours in daily life in reinforcement session
State at least 3examples importance of colours to living things (humans, animals and plants) with examples during cognitive closure session.
Justify the importance of colours to living things in Win, Lose or Draw activity in enhancement phase.

Science process skills, thinking skills and manipulative skills:
Classify the list of uses in daily life activities into their related uses in ‘Mind Breaker 1” activity
Relate the importance of colours to living things while doing “Mind Breaker 3” activity

Scientific attitudes and noble values
Appreciate the contribution of colours towards people in daily life activities while doing first reinforcement activity .
Being cooperative during activities in reinforcement and enhancement session while completing the tasks given by teacher

At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:-
Content Knowledge:

• Give the definition of pigments.
• List the uses of pigments in various fields such as textile industry, food industry, cosmetic industry, colour printing and paintings.
• State the colours that can be produce by mixing pigments and its differences with mixing coloured lights.

Scientific Skills:

• Defining operationally the concept of producing colours in pigment by visualizing the process of absorbing and reflecting certain colours .
• Classifying the characteristics of mixing pigments and addition of colour lights according to their similarities and differences.

Scientific Attitudes and Noble Value:

• Being coorperative during the process of understanding what pigment is.
• Being confidents and independent in expressing ideas about mixing pigments.
